- Determine where to get your news? Is it online only? Is it newspaper? It is word of mouth? Newspapers are filled with research and offers a way to understand news as it happens.
- Avoid gossip sites. Take a moment to look closely at the sites you visit.
- Be careful what you share. We want to stress this one. Before you click share, retweet or any of those things, get an idea of what is true. A simple Google search will often lead you to the truth.
