About project
A local, trusted and well known profit had a communications crisis and wanted to communicate accurate information to the community regarding a case of misconduct.
Our Task Was
Protect brand reputation and effectively manage communication to media.
Process
We interviewed employees, parents and students. Then we created a full social media plan to address issues as well as highlight the core of the work the nonprofit was doing. We held a media training and focused on sharing positive stories of the nonprofit.
Result
The nonprofit was able to retain their status as a trusted nonprofit. The allegations was proven to be false and the nonprofit was able to continue to serve as a trusted place for children in the community. Connect The Dots PR strategic approach and support have been key to moving away from crisis mode to the recovery phase.
